Waianae Coast Visions of Aloha Traffic Box Project

CALL FOR LOCAL ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT

Waianae Coast Visions of Aloha

Making Dreams Come True, Valley of Rainbows is seeking local artists (professional and amateur) to join us in partnership with community leaders, youth, kupuna and sponsors for a special community beautification project.  We will be enhancing over thirty traffic boxes along Farrington Highway (Nanakuli Avenue to Makaha) by showcasing local artwork, stories and legends.  This is the time to showcase our special stories through art to share with the community where thousands a day will be able to enjoy!

Professional and amateur artists who reside or have a strong connection to the Waianae Coast are invited to submit a concept by emailing info@valleyofrainbows.org for an application template.  All work must be approved by the State Department of Transportation. Project to begin September 2020, pending approvals and COVID-19 restrictions.
